This blog is a journey which chronicles my "sweet tooth" in working with clay, fabric, paint, mixed media and whatever else happens to capture my attention. I have found such peace working with my hands. I believe we all need hobbies to help us cope with the stresses of living in our world. It is my hope that this might inspire you to find a creative medium which speaks to you . . . and find peace. Namaste.

Future Peace-makers
Teachers across the country are gearing up for another year of shaping the lives of children. One of my goals is to always guide my students to seek peaceful resolutions to conflict and to find peace within themselves.
I love the following quote:
"If we wish to create a lasting peace, we must begin with the children." - Gandhi
Here's to our future generation . . . learning the ways of peace . . . best wishes to teachers everywhere for a successful and peace-filled year!
