This blog is a journey which chronicles my "sweet tooth" in working with clay, fabric, paint, mixed media and whatever else happens to capture my attention. I have found such peace working with my hands. I believe we all need hobbies to help us cope with the stresses of living in our world. It is my hope that this might inspire you to find a creative medium which speaks to you . . . and find peace. Namaste.

Drummer for Peace
Today was an exciting day in lovely Santa Fe! The new Railyard Park opened and residents welcomed the new commuter train called the Railrunner into the Railyard. There was lots of great energy in the air and people were very excited. This lively band pictured above provided music and smiles to people who were in attendance. I like the message that this drummer put on her drum.
Namaste.

As I mentioned in a subsequent post, Todd--sorry, I'm going in reverse chronological order--Bennie and I toured the new Railyard Park Saturday evening. I love the balance of the urban and the natural. A welcome departure from the "pueblo" style. As much as I love the pueblo style, I welcome fresh designs and energy.
