This blog is a journey which chronicles my "sweet tooth" in working with clay, fabric, paint, mixed media and whatever else happens to capture my attention. I have found such peace working with my hands. I believe we all need hobbies to help us cope with the stresses of living in our world. It is my hope that this might inspire you to find a creative medium which speaks to you . . . and find peace.
Namaste.

Rocks for Peace
My wonderful little first grade kiddos came in the other day with rocks they had painted with peace signs. Here are a few of them . . . . gotta love 'em! Namaste.
OMG! Treasures! How wonderful is this? I so believe that little ones that grow up embracing peace are the peacekeepers of tomorrow! Every day you make a difference, a beautiful, beautiful difference!
What a great idea...to paint rocks with peace signs and other messages of hope to set around the home, office, or classroom. I think it is something that people of all ages could do!

Those are beautiful, Todd. I've said it before. I'll say it again. I'm sure you are one wonderfully inspiring teacher.
