This blog is a journey which chronicles my "sweet tooth" in working with clay, fabric, paint, mixed media and whatever else happens to capture my attention. I have found such peace working with my hands. I believe we all need hobbies to help us cope with the stresses of living in our world. It is my hope that this might inspire you to find a creative medium which speaks to you . . . and find peace. Namaste.

adornment of PeAcE
I have been having great fun creating a peace theme ornament this holiday season. There is just so much inspiration out there! I love the messy funky technique that I've created here with fabric, paint and my sewing machine. You could even leave this out for the entire year if you wish to brighten up your workspace or home. If you are looking for unique handmade items to give to your loved ones you'll find so much of what you need and more on ETSY. Truly a marketplace of inspired artisans from all over the world. May this holiday season be one of quiet reflection and PeAce. Namaste.

Wishing you wonderful holidays, Todd.
Todd, these are SO creative!
And I love your post about your Grandma quilt. I have one just like it, and can find peaces of dresses that Grandma had sewn for us.
Happy Happy Holidays to you and yours!
Haven't visited your blog for awhile but wanted to greet you at year's end: Have a safe and joyful New Year's eve celebration, and may 2011 be kind to you with good health, good cheer, and with much happiness and laughter!
