This blog is a journey which chronicles my "sweet tooth" in working with clay, fabric, paint, mixed media and whatever else happens to capture my attention. I have found such peace working with my hands. I believe we all need hobbies to help us cope with the stresses of living in our world. It is my hope that this might inspire you to find a creative medium which speaks to you . . . and find peace. Namaste.

Animal Messengers of Peace
I was stopped at a stoplight today and a raven was standing on the sidewalk right next to me staring at me. I believe he was sending a message. Native American medicine men believe they have healing powers and often call upon them during rituals. I was comforted knowing he was there.
Peace!

Hmmm...interesting. What do sparrows or wrens mean?
I have two that follow me in the backyard as I lay clothes on the line, toss balls for my dogs and now, even as I mow. They literally hop along beside me on the ground.
