This blog is a journey which chronicles my "sweet tooth" in working with clay, fabric, paint, mixed media and whatever else happens to capture my attention. I have found such peace working with my hands. I believe we all need hobbies to help us cope with the stresses of living in our world. It is my hope that this might inspire you to find a creative medium which speaks to you . . . and find peace. Namaste.

Students Quilt for Peace
This great quilt was made by students at El Dorado Community School here in Santa Fe. I love the bright colors and the overall message . . . . just plain old peace. I'll have to do some digging to find out what was their inspiration and purpose in designing and creating this wonderful, one-of-a-kind quilt.
Happy Sunday!!
Namaste.

Wonderful quilt,,,and (for me at least) a great play on words.
My Grandmother used to speak of "piecing quilts" when she made them.
I'm smiling,,,,thanks.
I love it! I used to help my grandmother piece quilts also! I have a quilt that we pieced together. I cherish it! :)
