This blog is a journey which chronicles my "sweet tooth" in working with clay, fabric, paint, mixed media and whatever else happens to capture my attention. I have found such peace working with my hands. I believe we all need hobbies to help us cope with the stresses of living in our world. It is my hope that this might inspire you to find a creative medium which speaks to you . . . and find peace. Namaste.

Take a hike
We live only minutes from a spectacular aspen forest. The leaves are beginning to turn in some areas. I imagine that the next couple of weekends will be breath-taking. We took a lovely hike today. So peaceful and energizing. I think I am ready to tackle my week. Hope you all are too!
Namaste.

Oh, the glorious Aspen!
Also love the "Peace Man" below,,,too cool!
Beautiful!
Taking deep breaths!
Just looking at his photo I can see why you feel peaceful and relaxed.
We have some itty bitty aspens in our front yard which Bennie planted several years ago. They haven't started turning yet. As a matter of fact, the trees out here in Eldorado have just barely begun to turn, and yet in town there's yellow everywhere! I can't get over the different weather we experience a few miles out of town. Then again, sometimes it rains in the back yard but not the front.
I'm glad you found your hike restorative, Todd.
your photo is absolutely lovely!
Wonderful that you have that beauty around you.
